During the Autumn Term the children in the Nursery have been learning new skills and exploring different Autumn objects.

We have been observing the changes that have taken place during Autumn on the Nursery tree and in the local environment.
We have been on a spider hunt and have drawn some fabulous spiders using chalk.
The children have painted poppies, bonfire pictures and have made a leaf print collage.
In maths the children have matched quantities of leaves to leaf numerals and have made repeated patterns using pinecones, conkers, acorns and leaves.
We have used our fingers to paint an Autumn tree and have been talking about the weather.
