STEM (Science, technology, engineering and maths) is important because it teaches critical thinking skills and instills a passion for innovation. Our children have been developing these skills by taking part in STEM activities.
Year 4, 5 and 6 have taken part in a STEM workshop delivered by the Royal Air Force. The session focused on gliders, and the science behind efficient flight. Through designing, testing and redesigning, they created gliders and competed against their peers. 🛩
The children had a fantastic time, "I love science, it has been the best morning ever!" 🙌
