PIRATE DAY 2022: GALLERY

Nursery are reading lots of different books about the Ocean! We celebrated our love of the sea by having a Pirate day!

We made telescopes, sang lots of pirate poems and songs, drew our own maps and even walked the plank. We also did a 'pin the eye patch on the pirate'. We had a great day in nursery discussing lots of sea creatures and using fabulous language to describe the pirates!

Reception have been learning the story 'Pirates Love Underpants'.

They have been on a pirate hunt to find the treasure, making pirate boats using the junk modelling and building a pirate ship with the large wooden blocks. The children loved walking the plank.
