The boys from year 6, 5 and 4 on Wednesday night played against Clarice Cliff on the astro and began brightly in the first half. They started off well and tried to move the ball about the pitch with limited success. Clarice cliff were a good opposition but we should have been strengthened by boys that weren’t there due to one reason or another. However we continued to push and from good persistent play and determination scored a couple of goals. Clarice Cliff hit back with a strike of their own before half time but the boys had done well to lead at half time. The second half was much more one sided, as unfortunately Clarice Cliff worked a lot harder than us and moved the ball quicker and so scored 3 goals without reply from ourselves. The boys worked hard but could not get a goal that their pressure deserved. It was their first game back in a while so there were lots of positives for us to look forward to.
