We are extremely lucky at Belgrave to have our very own allotment. Our 'Green Giants Allotment' is a thriving, vibrant area where children, teachers and the local community are able to develop their knowledge and understanding of the natural world around them, through getting their hands dirty and seeing first-hand nature in action. But the allotment is so much more, from nurturing the growth of fruit and veg from a seed to your plates, to offering a home to local wildlife such as birds, insects and even the occasional hedgehog!

The allotment has really become a pivotal part of the school and local community! For the past 6 years the allotment has been self-sufficient through selling it's produce, as well as running community workshops. All with wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

So let's get our fingers green and keep growing stronger!
